Terms of Service
Effective date: [DATE]
Thanks for choosing FoxRevive! These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the rules for using the FoxRevive app for Windows, the FoxRevive website, and FoxRevive subscriptions. We wrote them in plain English so they are easy to read. Please read them before you buy or use FoxRevive.
The short version
This summary is here to help you. The full Terms below are what actually apply.
- FoxRevive is a one-click tune-up and repair tool for Windows 10 and 11. It runs 10 steps, including Windows repairs, Windows updates, junk cleanup, drive optimization, and a disk check at your next restart. It is not antivirus or security software.
- It needs administrator permission and makes real changes to your PC. Please back up your important files first.
- If your drive or PC is old, failing, or damaged, a scan, repair, update, or disk check can be the moment an existing problem shows up. Check your drive's health and back up first. FoxRevive is not a data recovery, backup, or hardware diagnostic tool (see Section 11).
- FoxRevive is built to leave your personal files, games, game settings, shader caches, and saved browser passwords, cookies, logins, and bookmarks alone. Browsing history and tabs are only cleared if you say yes when FoxRevive asks (see Section 5).
- FoxRevive never restarts your PC on its own. If Windows updates need a restart, please restart, then run FoxRevive again to finish the steps it held back.
- Don't interrupt Windows updates or the disk check, and don't turn off your PC while they run.
- FoxRevive has two paid plans, Swift and Apex, and no free version. Without an active plan, the app only offers a read-only Preview scan that changes nothing (see Section 19).
- Apex subscribers can schedule automatic tune-ups. Scheduled runs never close your browsers, never empty the Recycle Bin, never restart your PC, and show no popups (see Section 9).
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time in a few clicks, with no fees, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller ("merchant of record"). No hidden fees.
- We can't promise a specific speed boost or that a run will take a specific amount of time.
- Please don't share, resell, or try to get around your license key.
1. Who we are and agreeing to these Terms
FoxRevive is made and sold by Jason Fox dba FoxZoneIT, a sole proprietor based in Texas, United States ("we," "us," or "our"). "You" means the person using FoxRevive.
By buying a subscription, entering a license key, or using the FoxRevive app or website, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use FoxRevive.
2. Who can use FoxRevive
To buy or use FoxRevive, you must:
- be at least 18 years old (or the age of adulthood where you live), or be using it with permission and supervision from a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms;
- be able to enter into a binding agreement; and
- own the PC you use it on, or have the owner's permission to run maintenance and repair tools on it, including permission to approve the Windows administrator prompt.
FoxRevive is made for Windows 10 and Windows 11. It may not work on other systems.
3. What FoxRevive does
When you click "Start tune-up," FoxRevive runs these 10 steps, one after another. Most of them use tools that are built into Windows.
- Step 1, System Health Scan: a quick check of whether Windows has already marked its core system image as damaged (Windows' DISM tool).
- Step 2, Deep Integrity Scan: a deeper scan of the Windows system image for hidden damage (DISM).
- Step 3, Core Repair: repairs damage found in the Windows system image. It may download clean files from Microsoft, so it works best with an internet connection (DISM).
- Step 4, File Integrity Check: checks Windows' protected system files and replaces damaged ones (Windows' SFC tool).
- Step 5, Windows Updates: searches for, downloads, and installs pending Windows software updates using Windows' own update service (the Windows Update Agent). Driver updates are skipped. This step can take a long time. It stops after 45 minutes, and running FoxRevive again continues it. Some updates need a restart to finish. FoxRevive never restarts your PC on its own. If there's no internet connection or Windows Update is turned off, the step is skipped with a note and the tune-up carries on.
- Step 6, Component Optimization: removes old, replaced copies of Windows update components to free up space (DISM). If updates are waiting for a restart, this step is skipped and runs the next time you use FoxRevive after restarting.
- Step 7, Junk & Cache Sweep: clears temporary files, the DNS cache, and the Windows Update download cache. To clear the update download cache, FoxRevive briefly stops and restarts the Windows Update and background transfer services. The update download cache is left alone while updates are waiting for a restart. The Recycle Bin is only emptied if you tick "Also empty the Recycle Bin," which is unticked by default. If the "Close browsers and clean them" box is ticked, this is also when your browsers are cleaned (see Section 5). Files that are in use are skipped.
- Step 8, Leftover Sweep: a final, file-by-file pass for leftover junk: old temporary files, leftover update downloads and the Delivery Optimization cache, Windows error reports, memory and crash dumps older than 14 days, large or archived Windows repair logs, thumbnail and icon caches (Windows rebuilds these automatically), and FoxRevive's own temporary files and logs older than 30 days. Files that are in use are skipped.
- Step 9, Drive Optimization: runs Windows' built-in drive optimizer on every drive (for example, TRIM for SSDs and defragmenting for hard drives).
- Step 10, Disk Check Scheduling: books a Windows disk check (CHKDSK) of your system drive to run at your next restart. If updates are waiting for a restart, the disk check is not booked. FoxRevive will ask you to restart and run it again.
The "Cancel" button stops the current step and skips the rest. If you cancel during a repair or update step, please run FoxRevive again later so it can finish.
Running the full 10-step tune-up (Recommended) needs an active Swift or Apex plan. With Apex you can also choose which steps to run (Choose Your Steps), run a single step by clicking it (click-a-step), and schedule tune-ups (see Section 9). Swift runs the full tune-up only.
Preview scan: Without an active plan, the software offers only a read-only Preview scan. It measures and reports and does not delete, install, repair or change anything. Results are estimates at the time of the scan and are not a guarantee of what a tune-up will find, remove or improve.
The exact steps and wording may change a little as we improve FoxRevive (see Section 24).
4. What FoxRevive never touches
FoxRevive is built with a block list so that its cleanup steps do not delete or change:
- your personal files, including your Documents, Desktop, Downloads, and Pictures folders;
- game settings, saved games (including the Saved Games and My Games folders), and game files;
- game and graphics shader caches, including those from NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, and DirectX, and from Steam, Epic Games, and other game launchers;
- saved browser passwords, bookmarks, cookies, extensions/add-ons, and browser settings are always kept; browsing history and tabs are the one exception, and only in the optional deeper clean described in Section 5, which only runs if you say yes when asked;
- Program Files, Windows' System32 folder, the Windows Installer and Prefetch folders, and System Restore points; and
- the WinSxS folder. FoxRevive's own cleanup never deletes files there. Only Windows' own DISM tool tidies it, in Step 6.
The Recycle Bin is left alone unless you tick "Also empty the Recycle Bin." The app suggests emptying it after a cleanup, but it is always your choice. Emptying the Recycle Bin is permanent: files emptied from it can't be restored, so check it first.
Crash dumps: FoxRevive keeps memory and crash dumps that are newer than 14 days. Older ones may be deleted in Step 8. If you want to keep any crash dumps for troubleshooting, copy them to another folder before running FoxRevive.
We have built these protections carefully, but no software is perfect. That's one more reason to back up first (see Section 10).
5. Closing your web browsers
The main screen has one checkbox called "Close browsers and clean them." It comes with every plan. It is ticked by default, and you can untick it before you start a tune-up. Scheduled tune-ups never close your browsers, whatever this box is set to (see Section 9).
- If it is ticked, FoxRevive asks your open browsers (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, and Mozilla Firefox) to close when the tune-up starts, force-closes any that are still open after about 8 seconds, and clears their page caches. Any unsaved work in a browser, like a half-filled form or an unsent message, may be lost. Please save your work first.
- After the tune-up, FoxRevive asks you (the default answer is No, "caches only") whether to also do a deeper clean of Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. If you say yes, it clears browsing history, the downloads list, saved and open tabs (sessions), top sites and shortcuts, Firefox saved form entries. Extensions and add-ons are never removed. Firefox history is cleared where possible. Brave is not deep-cleaned. Closed tabs may not come back, so bookmark anything you want to keep.
- Cookies, saved passwords, logins, and bookmarks are never deleted.
- If you untick it, FoxRevive shows a short note explaining what that means. Your browsers stay open and are not cleaned, and you may free up a little less space. Everything else still runs.
FoxRevive remembers your choice. Browsing history and tabs are only cleared if you answer yes to the deeper-clean question.
6. Restarts, Windows updates, and the disk check
FoxRevive never restarts your PC on its own.
- Some Windows updates need a restart to finish. When that happens, FoxRevive tells you, and it holds back the steps that shouldn't run until after the restart (Component Optimization, clearing the update download cache, and booking the disk check).
- To finish those steps, restart your PC, then run FoxRevive again.
- At the end of a tune-up you can click "Restart now" (Windows restarts about 5 seconds later) or restart later yourself. Save your work in other programs before you restart.
- When the disk check is booked, it runs at your next restart, before Windows loads. It can take from a few minutes to several hours on large, slow, or damaged drives. If your drive is old or may be failing, read Section 11 before you restart.
Please don't interrupt Windows updates or the disk check, and don't turn off or unplug your PC while they run. Interrupting them can leave Windows or your drive in a bad state.
7. How long a tune-up takes
Times vary a lot from PC to PC. A full tune-up often takes 30 to 60 minutes or more, and Windows updates and the disk check can add a lot more. The time estimates in the app are only estimates. Any demo, video, or screenshot on our website is a preview of how FoxRevive looks and works, not a promise of how long it will take or what it will find on your PC.
Keep your PC plugged in, and don't shut it down while FoxRevive is working. If your PC is on battery, FoxRevive shows a warning and keeps going. Scheduled tune-ups are skipped on a laptop running on battery below 30% (see Section 9).
8. Administrator rights and changes to your PC
Please read this section carefully.
FoxRevive needs administrator permission because the Windows repair tools it uses only work that way. Windows will ask you to allow it when FoxRevive starts. When you allow it and start a tune-up, you are allowing FoxRevive to make system-level changes to your PC, including:
- letting Windows tools like DISM and SFC repair or replace Windows system files;
- installing Windows software updates through Windows Update;
- permanently deleting temporary files, caches, old crash dumps, and the other junk listed in Section 3, and emptying the Recycle Bin if you tick that box;
- closing your web browsers and clearing their page caches if the "Close browsers and clean them" box is ticked (see Section 5);
- briefly stopping and restarting Windows services, such as Windows Update, while clearing the update download cache;
- optimizing your drives and booking a disk check for your next restart;
- if you set up scheduled tune-ups, creating a Windows scheduled task that runs FoxRevive's tune-up at the times you choose, with administrator (highest) privileges and without a Windows permission prompt each time (see Section 9); and
- only if you answer yes when asked after a tune-up, clearing browsing history, the downloads list, tabs and sessions, top sites and shortcuts in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox, and Firefox saved form entries (see Section 5). Extensions and add-ons are never removed;
You are responsible for deciding whether to run FoxRevive on your PC, for backing up your important data first (see Section 10), for checking whether your drive is healthy enough (see Section 11), and for having permission to run it if the PC isn't yours.
9. Scheduled tune-ups (Apex)
With an Apex plan, you can schedule FoxRevive to run tune-ups automatically. FoxRevive sets this up using Windows Task Scheduler, which is built into Windows.
- You choose when scheduled runs happen. You're responsible for picking times that suit you, for example times when you aren't using the PC for important work.
- Scheduled runs happen without asking you first. By setting up a schedule, you allow FoxRevive to make the changes described in Section 8 at the times you chose.
- Scheduled runs happen only while your PC is on and you are signed in to Windows, at your PC's local time. They won't wake a sleeping PC. If the PC was off at the scheduled time, Windows may start the run once it is available. On a laptop running on battery below 30%, the run is skipped.
- Windows updates installed during a scheduled run may need a restart to finish. Please restart when it suits you, then run FoxRevive again to finish any steps it held back (see Section 6). If a scheduled run books the disk check, the disk check runs the next time you restart.
- You can remove the schedule at any time in FoxRevive, or in Windows Task Scheduler (the task is named "FoxRevive Scheduled Tune-up").
- Scheduled runs are skipped while your Apex plan isn't active, for example after your subscription ends or if you move to Swift.
Scheduled runs never close your web browsers, never empty the Recycle Bin, never restart your PC on their own, and show no popups. They run unattended.
Everything in these Terms about backups, old or failing drives, and results applies to scheduled runs too (see Sections 10, 11, and 12). Because scheduled runs happen while you may not be watching, please keep your backups current.
10. Back up first
The tools FoxRevive uses are widely used and generally safe. But no software can rule out every problem. In rare cases, a Windows update or repair can cause problems, for example with a driver, a device, or another program. A power cut during a repair, a drive that is already failing (see Section 11), or an existing Windows problem could also cause trouble.
Before using FoxRevive, and especially before the disk check runs at your next restart, please back up anything you can't afford to lose, such as documents, photos, and other important files. You are responsible for your own backups.
We also strongly recommend keeping regular backups, keeping them current if you use scheduled tune-ups, and having a Windows restore point or recovery option available. FoxRevive does not back up your files for you.
11. Old, failing or damaged drives and storage
Please read this section carefully, especially if your PC or its drive is old, slow, noisy, or showing errors.
Several FoxRevive steps work across your whole drive or Windows system: the Windows repairs (DISM and SFC, Steps 1 to 4), Windows Updates (Step 5), the cleanup steps (Steps 6 to 8), Drive Optimization (defragmenting or TRIM, Step 9), and the Windows disk check (CHKDSK), which Step 10 books to run at your next restart. These tools read from and write to large parts of your drive. That is how they find and fix problems, but it also means they can bring existing, hidden problems to the surface.
If a hard drive, SSD, or other storage device, or your Windows system, is already old, worn, failing, damaged, corrupted, or otherwise compromised, it can crash, slow down, fail to start, show bad sectors or file errors, lose data or make it unreadable, or stop working completely during or after a scan, repair, update, cleanup, optimization, or disk check, even when FoxRevive and Windows' tools work exactly as they should.
These scans and repairs don't cause healthy hardware to wear out. But they can be the moment an existing fault shows itself.
Before you run FoxRevive on a PC like this:
- Back up your important data first, and especially before the disk check runs (see Section 10).
- If your drive is old, noisy, slow, or showing errors, check its health first, for example its SMART status, using your drive maker's tool or another reputable drive health tool.
- If you think a drive may be failing, don't run the disk check on it (and don't restart after it is booked) until you have a current backup. Copying your files off a failing drive should come first, and a data recovery professional may be your best option.
- The disk check can take several hours on large, slow, or damaged drives. Don't interrupt it, and don't turn off or unplug your PC while it runs (see Section 6).
FoxRevive is not a data recovery, backup, or hardware diagnostic tool. It can't tell you whether your drive is healthy, and we don't guarantee the health, life, or performance of any drive or other hardware.
By running the disk check, including by restarting your PC after FoxRevive or a scheduled tune-up has booked it, you confirm that you have backed up the important data on that PC.
FoxRevive is provided "as is" (see Section 27). To the fullest extent the law allows, you use FoxRevive on an old, worn, failing, damaged, corrupted, or otherwise compromised drive or system at your own risk, and we are not liable for problems caused by a hardware or system condition that already existed, or for lost, corrupted, or unreadable data, even if the problem first shows up during or after a FoxRevive step (see Section 28).
Nothing in this section takes away rights you have that can't legally be waived or limited, such as rights under the consumer laws where you live, and it doesn't limit our liability where the law doesn't allow that, for example for our gross negligence or for harm we cause on purpose. Our refund policy (Section 21) still applies.
12. No guaranteed results
Every PC is different. We can't promise that FoxRevive will:
- make your PC faster, or faster by any certain amount;
- free up a certain amount of space;
- find or install any particular Windows update;
- fix any particular problem, especially hardware problems like a failing drive or overheating;
- find, warn you about, or prevent a failing drive, or tell you whether your drive is healthy (see Section 11); or
- finish in the time shown. Time estimates are just estimates, and real times can be much longer.
13. Windows, Windows updates, and other software
FoxRevive runs tools and updates that come from Microsoft and are part of Windows. We don't make or control Windows, Windows updates, your web browsers, or other software on your PC. Windows updates are chosen and provided by Microsoft under Microsoft's terms, and Microsoft decides which updates are offered to your PC. Sometimes a Windows update or repair can cause a problem with a driver, a device, or another program. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for how Microsoft's tools and updates behave.
14. FoxRevive is not security software
FoxRevive is not antivirus, anti-malware, or security software.
It does not scan for, remove, or protect you from viruses, malware, ransomware, hackers, or scams. The optional deeper browser clean is a housekeeping step, not a security check. Please keep using a real security product, like Microsoft Defender, which is built into Windows.
15. Your license to use FoxRevive
FoxRevive is licensed to you, not sold. While your subscription is active and you follow these Terms, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use FoxRevive on 1 Windows PC that you own or control. Both Swift and Apex are for 1 PC.
You can move your license to a different PC on the old PC: click MANAGE LICENSE at the bottom left of the FoxRevive window and choose "Deactivate this PC". If you can't do that (for example, the old PC died), contact us and we'll help.
Each license is for personal use. If you want to use FoxRevive as part of a paid repair or IT service for other people, please contact us first for written permission.
16. Things you agree not to do
To keep things fair for everyone, you agree not to:
- share, sell, resell, rent, lend, give away, or publish your license key;
- try to get around, disable, or fake the license check or the device limit;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble FoxRevive, except where the law clearly allows it;
- copy, change, or redistribute FoxRevive, or remove our name, logo, or notices;
- run FoxRevive on a computer you don't own or don't have permission to maintain; or
- use FoxRevive to break any law.
17. License activation and using FoxRevive offline
To activate your plan, click ACTIVATE at the bottom left of the FoxRevive window. This opens a box where you enter the license key from your purchase email. Once active, the same button reads MANAGE LICENSE and shows your license status and lets you manage your subscription or deactivate this PC. Activation needs an internet connection, because FoxRevive checks your key online with Lemon Squeezy. After that, FoxRevive re-checks your license online each time it starts and before each scheduled tune-up (it does not check on a timer).
If you're offline, your Swift or Apex plan keeps working for up to 7 days after the last successful check. After that, just connect to the internet and FoxRevive will check again. Your subscription itself is not affected by being offline. If your PC's clock is set backwards, FoxRevive may ask you to connect and re-check.
See our Privacy Policy for exactly what is sent during a license check.
18. Payments through Lemon Squeezy
FoxRevive subscriptions are sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our reseller and "merchant of record." This means:
- you pay Lemon Squeezy, and your bank or card statement may show Lemon Squeezy;
- Lemon Squeezy collects payment, figures out and charges any sales tax or VAT, sends your receipts and invoices, and delivers your license key by email; and
- Lemon Squeezy's own terms and privacy policy also apply to your purchase.
We never see or store your full card number.
19. Subscriptions, automatic renewal, and no hidden fees
FoxRevive is offered as two paid plans. There is no free version (without an active plan, only the read-only Preview scan described in Section 3 is available).
- Swift: $5.99 per month or $49.99 per year. Runs the full 10-step tune-up (Recommended). Does not include scheduled tune-ups, Choose Your Steps, or click-a-step.
- Apex: $8.99 per month or $69.99 per year. Everything in Swift, plus click-a-step, Choose Your Steps, and scheduled tune-ups that run unattended (see Section 9).
Each plan covers 1 PC.
Prices are in US dollars. Taxes may be added depending on where you live. The price and any taxes are shown at checkout before you pay.
No hidden fees: there are no setup fees, cancellation fees, or other extra charges. You pay the subscription price shown at checkout, plus any tax shown there.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, and your saved payment method is charged the then-current price, until you cancel.
Your renewal date is shown in your Lemon Squeezy receipt, in the customer portal, and in the app when you click MANAGE LICENSE at the bottom left of the FoxRevive window.
If a renewal payment fails, Lemon Squeezy may try again over the next few days. If the payment still doesn't go through, your subscription may end and FoxRevive will stop working, except for the read-only Preview scan.
20. Cancel any time, the easy way
We want cancelling to be as easy as signing up. There are no cancellation fees and no hoops to jump through.
- Open the Lemon Squeezy "My Orders" customer portal at the customer portal link on our website (you sign in with a link sent to your email), find FoxRevive, and click Cancel. You can also get there in the FoxRevive app by clicking MANAGE LICENSE at the bottom left of the window and choosing to manage your subscription, or from the customer portal link on our website.
- Or just email us at foxzoneit@outlook.com and we'll cancel it for you.
After you cancel, you won't be charged again. You keep your plan until the end of the period you already paid for. After that, FoxRevive stops working, except for the read-only Preview scan.
The same customer portal also lets you update your card and download your invoices.
Cancelling stops future charges. It doesn't refund time you've already paid for, unless our refund policy below or the law says otherwise.
21. Refunds
- First purchase only: You can ask for a refund within 7 days of your first purchase of a FoxRevive plan (Swift or Apex). To ask, email us at foxzoneit@outlook.com.
- Renewals: Refunds are not available for renewals, monthly or yearly.
- Cancelling: You can cancel at any time (see Section 20). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period, and you keep access until then.
Refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, and go back to your original payment method. Your bank may take several days to show it. When a payment is refunded, the license key linked to it is turned off.
Nothing in these Terms takes away any refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.
22. Price changes
We may change our prices from time to time. If we raise the price of your subscription, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies. The new price starts at your next renewal after that notice. It never changes a period you've already paid for. If you don't want to pay the new price, you can cancel before your renewal date.
23. Free trials
We don't offer a free trial right now. If we offer one in the future, we'll clearly explain how it works, including when and how much you'll be charged, before you sign up.
24. Updates to FoxRevive
We may release updates that fix bugs, add features, or change or remove features. Some updates may be needed to keep FoxRevive working, including for license checks. We'll try to keep FoxRevive working with supported versions of Windows 10 and 11, but we can't promise it will work with every future version of Windows.
25. Our rights in FoxRevive
FoxRevive, including its software, design, robot characters, name, and logo, belongs to Jason Fox dba FoxZoneIT and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. These Terms don't give you any rights in FoxRevive except the license in Section 15. If you send us ideas or feedback, we can use them freely without owing you anything.
26. Copyright complaints (DMCA)
We respect other people's rights. If you believe something on our website or in FoxRevive uses your copyrighted work without permission, email foxzoneit@outlook.com with:
- your name and contact information;
- a description of the copyrighted work;
- where the material is (for example, a link or screenshot);
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner; and
- your physical or electronic signature.
We will review it and remove material where appropriate.
27. Disclaimer of warranties
FoxRevive is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. This includes any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We don't promise that FoxRevive will be error-free, will work without interruption, or will meet your needs, or that Windows updates or repairs run through FoxRevive will work without problems. We also don't promise that FoxRevive will detect, prevent, or fix hardware problems, or that any drive will keep working (see Section 11). Some places don't allow these kinds of limits, so some of this section may not apply to you.
28. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, lost files, or lost time, even if we were told they might happen. This includes problems caused by Windows updates or repairs, by interrupting an update or disk check, by closing browsers with unsaved work, by emptying the Recycle Bin when you chose to, by a scheduled run at a time you chose (see Section 9), or by a drive, other hardware, or Windows system that was already old, worn, failing, damaged, corrupted, or compromised, even if the problem first shows up during or after a FoxRevive step (see Section 11); and
- our total liability for any claim related to FoxRevive or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us for FoxRevive in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.
Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud, gross negligence, or harm we cause on purpose. Our refund policy (Section 21) still applies.
29. Indemnity
If someone makes a legal claim against us because you broke these Terms, broke the law, or ran FoxRevive on a computer without permission, you agree to cover our reasonable costs from that claim, including reasonable legal fees. This doesn't apply to claims caused by our own fault.
30. Ending these Terms
You can stop using FoxRevive at any time. To stop being charged, cancel your subscription (see Section 20).
We may suspend or end your license if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, for example by sharing or reselling your key, getting around the license check, or using fraudulent payments. When it's reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
If we stop offering FoxRevive, or end your license without a good reason, we'll refund the unused part of any period you've already paid for.
When these Terms end, your license ends and you must stop using FoxRevive, except for the read-only Preview scan. Sections that by their nature should continue (like Sections 10 through 14 and 25 through 34, including Section 11 on old, failing or damaged drives) will keep applying.
31. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you live outside Texas, you still keep any protections that the consumer laws of your home state or country give you.
32. Resolving problems
Most problems can be fixed with a quick email. If you have a problem or complaint, please contact us first at foxzoneit@outlook.com. We'll try in good faith to sort it out within 30 days.
If we can't, either of us may bring a claim in small claims court where you live or in [COUNTY], Texas, if the claim qualifies. Otherwise, claims must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring the claim in your local courts.
33. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If a change is important, we'll also try to tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using FoxRevive after the change takes effect, you accept the new Terms. If you don't agree, you can cancel your subscription and stop using FoxRevive.
34. Other legal details
- These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and Lemon Squeezy's terms for your purchase are the whole agreement between you and us about FoxRevive.
- If any part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we don't enforce a part of these Terms right away, we can still enforce it later.
- You can't transfer your rights under these Terms to someone else without our permission. We may transfer ours, for example if FoxRevive is sold, and these Terms will still protect you.
- We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as internet or power outages, or problems with Lemon Squeezy or Microsoft services.
- You agree to follow US export laws when using FoxRevive.
FoxRevive is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft, Google, Mozilla, Brave, Valve, NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Epic, or Lemon Squeezy; their names are used only to describe compatibility. Windows is a trademark of Microsoft.
